Wanted: Men or Women?

Each one of us has a purpose in life that every individual has his/her own capability to be called a leader. As what I know that men and women are all equal. Except that they have their own different task and responsibilities.

As in this institution we as an individual ha shis/her own mission in life. That all of us can be called a leader. A Leaser that it must be respected and must follow. In The sense that he or she can be a model to everybody, in a way that he or she can mold us, as a good citizens in this country.

For me I prefer women to ba a leader. Because as what I’ve known women can dobetter things  that men can’t. Unfortunately, men are lazier than women. That men are fond of mannerism, like they prefer enjoyment than doing the task that they must do.

I consider myselfto ba called a leader. In a way that I can help people. During my 4th year highschool days, I joined one of an outside activity in school. And I’m one of the invited people to join that kind of organization,a YFC community. As the camp ends, I’m one of those selected student to become a leader in our school. And Its a great previledge for me, and also I must work Hand in hand so that  members will follow me of what the task that had given. In fact its hard for me to be a leader to everybody. Because are the one responsible for all the things that had happened. And as we all know that many trial will overcome to the extent that it can cause you to give up. But the fact that a great leader must have the strong personality that he or she can lead up to the fullest and can stand alone.

So as our life starts to journey, we must build up to gain success and achieve our goals in life. Each one of us can be called a leader without minding the gender. But his or her own CAPABILITY TO LEAD!.

     My say about the coming election, days from now government officials, candidates and other people concerned are getting pump up for the big event this May. Some of the regestered voters  had already selected there soon to be "good" leaders for them. I quoted the word good, so as to emphasize that, are they really that good? I hope they choose the candidates who works for public service not for the money or the what they say opportunities.

     But as far as I’ve heard in the news, the government were alegedly going after political persons or other personalities that they think are harmful or a threath to their wants. For example, Mayor Binay which is a known political figure under the opposition group was almost forced evict in his office. Not only mayors but also other positions like congressmans, senators and etc.

     Taking examples also for the previous election, it is very unmanaged. Remember the sopposed to be computerized voting? It is one of the controversial issues up to this day. People’s money had been wasted for a not implemented project. Also the never dying flying voters, registered voters whom names are misplaced to other precints or erased from the list, and dead people being able to vote! What a government?! But don’t think that there’s nothing we can do, because there is. We must not tolerate this practices and report to proper authorities if we are witnesses of such crime.

     Hoping this coming May 2007 election that the negative issues I stated above and also the unstated will be minimized if not erased from the system of candidacy. I also hope that goverment officials running again for office and also to the newbies in politics put into their hearts and minds the known motto, "Serve the People" and "Pera ng taong bayan, para sa taong bayan!". Hope also to the voters to vote wisely and please DON’T VOTE STRAIGHT! Not all persons in the same party are really deserving, take it from experience.

     All these are HOPES and only HOPES. I pray to Almighty God the Father that at least one of these HOPES may come true. But it is much better if all of these positive hopes will be practiced.

     AMEN.

     Seriously. I do hope a peaceful and effective election. May this coming election will bring us good and deserving leaders for our improvement.

      In life, we do not get anything we want. we even sacrifice nor lose something just to save the other. we  have to  play with destiny and deal with it, risking  ourselves  just to get those things that are worth fighting and holding for. I’m not that lucky to have the things that each one  of us dreams  of. But as far as i know these are the things that i would cherish for the rest of my life.

     Today presentation skills are required in every field. Whether you are a student or an executive, you will have to make presentation at a time or other.In order to deliver a captivating presentations in a lot of inputs and work needed.

     Information technology needs to have presentation skills in order for them to present clearly the information that are existing right now. It needs to be expand and develop all the data gathered and also to make their skills enhance. Aside from that it boast their life wherein they are being exposed to the people that are also part of the everyday increasing and advance of technology.

     Presentation exercises different kinds of style and skills. Managing your presentation in front of the people that can help you delivered what is exact and proper way of deliverance. Not only knowing what is right and what is wrong but also you will be familiar to the things and to the word that are coming from your mouth and comes from through individuals mind and self-thinking of a person.

     Achieving the goal of proper presentation skills is good outcome to your career someday because it helps you communicate more effectively to the people who are also example of the industry that you are in right now. It also gives encouragement to others who feel unfamiliar to certain things.

     To think and understand well the importance of having presentation skills in the field of information technology is a very good cultivation of each individual person that aside of becoming a more assertive it concentrate to the field that feel where you belong. There are no reasons of bothering your field in life of career but instead it puts and adds another opportunity to your lifetime careers.

     There is no other person that can take that skills from you but only you yourself who manage and discover the other lines of presentation skills in the near future someday.

     In short, presentation skills can also be an idealistic expression of one’s capability in doing a report to something that happens in the world of information technology.

What to Expect this 2007

     New Year is said to be the beginning of our life’s journey. It is not just the beginning but also the continuation of the things that happened in our lives. We experienced trials and failures that we may nearly think to give up. But as we all know, one of the ingredients of success is trial. All the things that happened in the past brought us memories, both happy and sad, that must be treasured, wrong things that must be corrected and specially the memories that must be kept.

     We Filipinos are fond of expectations, we have the courage to pursue challenging goals from our expectations and have high hopes.

     Sometimes, we associate the New Year with resolutions to correct whatever mistakes we made.  This is good for us to start the year with a positive mindset. We must have a certain goal to live a life to the fullest. But it is much better if we can resolve our problems without waiting for another new year. 

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

     For the past we had encounter many things, there were moments we forget and won the prize but, there were many times that we fell and failed.

Each year is unpredictable and illusive.

     All the things that we’ve done mark in the history but only a few remembered and that’s the reality! New Year! It is said to be a beginning of a new journey in life. Actually, it’s not completely true because New Year is just a continuation of the journey which started since birth. It is a year for new opportunities that need to be unlocked.

     Last December 26 of the previous year, after celebrating Christmas my family decided to celebrate New Year in General Santos City.

     The night before December 31 I was preparing the things of what to bring I pack my clothes and prepared for it. As I wake up early in the morning I quickly take a bath because of too much excited for the trip. And it’s such a wonderful day for me. We departed from here in Davao City at exactly 5:30 in the morning.

     Whooooo!!!!! It’s a long travel go to that place from here going to Gensan. Our trip was almost three and a half hours (3 ½). We just arrived there at 10 o’clock am. As I enter the door I told to my self that this is a very busy day for me. After the foods were prepared we quickly eat our meal and started to celebrate our new years eve. We are very excited to watch the fireworks. I was so amaze and of what I’ve seen of such a beautiful parade of fireworks.

     As what the New Year means, change. It is the time for me to make resolutions. There are many things that need to be forgotten, improve, renewed and change. But there is something that must be given importance, respect to one’s self, our faith in God and specially our studies. That education is very important not only in our lives but also to the people who nurture us and loved us. That we have to change ourselves to become a leader and a better person of what God wants us to be. It is hard to admit the fact that the value of education to some students right now is worthless. They always consider everything in school as a game. They do not take it seriously. They just do what ever they want, regardless of what it will come out in terms of their studies. Now seems to be the right time to change this awful attitude or way of thinking. Do not wait for the time that you will regret what you had done in the past, change. These are not only for our sake but also not to put shame on the name our parents.

     Resolutions are not new to us. We make it yearly but often times we do it for the sake of our customs or traditions. Forgetting and keeping are the right words to focus in this year. Let us forget what lies behind our door and unmask our negative attitudes. Let us keep ourselves prepared for the events that we hope to occur but do not forget about the events that we are not expecting.

     Expect the unexpected; be prepared for what you expect. We are useless and unworthy unless we transform in our mind and in our hearts.
